Why should we check the appearance quality of self-adhesive labels before printing?

What is the purpose of checking the appearance quality of self-adhesive labels before printing? This is to better avoid printing failures caused by its own product quality problems. In other words, if there is a problem with the material itself, then various problems will often occur during the entire printing process. Therefore, pre-press product quality work must be done well. Whether it is a problem with the material itself or damage to the material during the entire transportation process, it must be dealt with before printing, so which categories should be checked specifically?

(1) Check whether the material has burrs. The edges of the printed material should be smooth and free of other damage. Only in this way can the quality of the printed product be ensured.

(2) Is there any crack in the material? If there is any crack, please filter it out. The printed material should be free of cracks. Frequent cracks may be due to improper adjustment of the cutting tool or the blade edge is not very sharp. We must all know this clearly. Some cracks are very subtle and must be carefully observed to be found.

(3) Whether it adheres to the edge of the material and whether the liner paper lacks silicon, these are basically relatively critical points and must be clearly checked.

(4) Check whether the cut surface is straight and the tightness of the rewinding is consistent.

(5) What types of adhesives are there? Is it a self-adhesive adhesive, a heat-sealing adhesive, or a water-coated adhesive?

When we need to do the above work well, the sticker printing will be smoother and the product quality is guaranteed.
